It was great seeing everyone at the Ag Innovation Investment Summit in Washington. Thanks for all the effort you made in preparing for the event and for the TED-talks and Shark Tank presentations. We are finalizing the videos and will be sending those to you next week.

Congratulations to Ignitia! Lizzie Merrill brought home second place and a $5,000 prize for the Ignitia Shark Tank presentation. Ignitia was also recently featured in a Fast Company article.

In other news, SWFF Innovator Henry Bazira, Water Governance Institute, was invited to Stockholm World Water Week as an oral presenter for a seminar entitled: “Ecosystem Degradation and Livelihoods: Moving From Vicious to Virtuous Cycles.” He used the opportunity to inform the audience about his work in aquaponics farming and the role SWFF plays in supporting this work.
