Water Governance Institute has been accepted to present in a seminar tittled, Ecosystem Degradation and Livelihoods: Moving From Vicious to Virtuous Cycles, at the 2016 Stockholm World Water Week in August. This seminar will feature details about aquaponics farming and the role of SWFF in supporting the work. Read more below


 Dear Henry,

Congratulations to SWFF Innovator Henry Bazira, Water Governance Institute, who has been accepted to present a seminar titled, Ecosystem Degradation and Livelihoods: Moving From Vicious to Virtuous Cycles, at the 2016 Stockholm World Water Week in August. His seminar will feature details about aquaponics farming and the role of SWFF in supporting the work. 

Site Visit: The SWFF team is preparing to go to South Africa in a few days and will be visiting Conservation South Africa and Reel Gardening to capture their successes and challenges to date.

June Event: The agenda is firming up for the USAID Agriculture Innovation Cluster – Securing Water for Food, Powering Agriculture, and Feed the Future Partnering for Innovation Ag Innovation Investment Summit and the SWFF “Unconference” in Washington, D.C. June 1-2. Nairobi-based, Open Capital Advisors is facilitating the program and providing coaching for all attending innovators to make business pitches and TED-style talks about their investment-ready technologies.
